September 8: Miguel Espinoza Fusion

September 8 at 7:30 pm

It is with great joy that we present cellist Dianne Betkowski and guitarist Miguel Espinoza in a program of works that is sure to be the perfect kick off to our new season!
With roots in flamenco, classical, and jazz, their music is woven through with North African rhythms, Celtic whimsy, and Brazilian expressions, for a sound that is transformative, vibrant, and deeply emotive.

Miguel Espinoza is hailed as one of the best flamenco guitarists in the world. Described by Guitar Player Magazine as “mesmerizing,” Miguel is much more than a virtuoso technician. Miguel’s award-winning compositions create an exotic, intoxicating musical elixir of flamenco fusion that is as sonically exciting as it is emotionally moving.

Dianne Betkowski has performed, toured and recorded with the St. Louis, Utah, Honolulu and Colorado Symphony Orchestras. She is also a composer whose works have been performed by the Rochester Philharmonic, and the National, St. Louis, Houston, Honolulu, Boston Civic, and Colorado Symphonies. Dianne has also performed with the Boston Composers Quartet and the Lark Quartet.

Tickets are $20 for adults and are available through the link below or at the door the evening of the performance.
